Weekly Topic: Good vs Evil?
In The Lord of the Rings, good wins over evil, but how do you think this pertains to real life?
Question: Does good always triumph over evil?

I think that for the most part good eventually wins, but in other cases it doesn't, such as with extinct animals or moving the Native Americans to reservations.

I was thinking that I wonder if good does win in those cases, not by actions, so much, but by emotions, such as guilt. I know that "guilt" doesn't sound good, but maybe in this case, it is.
That probably sounds like nonsense.

Nah, it makes sense haha. What you said about guilt actually ties in with this morning's seminary lesson. If I was the one who was wronged though, that wouldn't seem like a big victory.Owen wrote:Sheheartscats wrote:I think that for the most part good eventually wins, but in other cases it doesn't, such as with extinct animals or moving the Native Americans to reservations.

I agree. It wouldn't be very satisfying.
