General Rules

• Debating and discussion is fine, but we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts
• Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed.
• We also do not allow posts or links to sites that violate our standards, therefore all outside links are to be approved by an Administrator or Moderator before a member can post.
• Discussion of illegal activities and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.
• Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.
• We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.
• Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted in any way.

Completely Off-Limits:
- Posting or Sharing Personal Information (Last name, age, city, school, phone number, etc).
- Posting or Sharing Personal Pictures
- Unapproved links (You may PM a staff member to approve a link first, before posting it).
- Creating duplicate accounts.
- Using RED or BLUE font color while posting or replying to threads. These colors are reserved for Moderators and Administrators only. Please refrain from using this color in the chatbox as well.

If you see someone ignoring The One Ring’s rules, please report them to us.
We reserve the right to edit or remove content that is deemed inappropriate, at any time and the right to change/add/remove rules to the list above.
